Autism Therapy

We have over 25 years of experience working with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide individualized programming for children in our centre using evidence-based practices derived from both behavioral and developmental therapies.

Families can choose the frequency and format of therapy that they feel will work best for them and their child. Therapy is currently offered in two formats:

Individual Sessions: A highly trained instructor will provide individualized assessment and teaching to your child in a one-on-one setting. Each session is 1 hour in length. This is ideal for a child who might be younger or may not have experience in a group setting with other children. Children above 11 years old typically participate in individual sessions. Individual sessions do not require a parent to stay with the child but parents are welcome to stay to learn the strategies and teaching targets their child is working on. Individual sessions are scheduled on Mondays.

Fee: $55/hour

Group Sessions: A highly trained instructor will provide individualized assessment and teaching to your child in a 1 to 3 or 1 to 4 group setting. Each session is 1.5 hours in length. This is ideal for children who benefit from socialization with peers and helps to prepare children for nursery school or school programs. We try our best to place your child with children around the same age to promote socialization. Parents do not stay for group sessions but the instructor will provide information both before and after each session for the parent. Group sessions also allow for your child to receive the greatest amount of therapy at a lower rate. Group sessions currently run:

Tuesday/Thursday

Session 1: 10:15 am to 11:45 am

Session 2: 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

Wednesday/Friday

Session 3: 10:15 am to 11:45 am

Session 4: 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

Session 5: 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Fee: $350/month*

1 session per week also available: $175/month*

Wednesday

Session 6: 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm

*one session per week available to school age children between 5 and 11

Fee: $175/month*

* Therapy not covered by insurance. Other funding options may be available to qualified families.
