Meet Our Staff
Hi, I'm Wendy Steede. I am the Owner/Executive Director of Westman Child Development Centre. I hold both a Masters degree in Psychology with a specialization in Autism and Child Development and a Masters of Special Education. Prior to opening Westman Child Development Centre, I served as the Autism/Early Intervention Specialist with Children's DisABILITY Services. Before that, I owned and operated an early intervention centre in Bermuda for children with Autism. Over the last 20 years, I have lived in several different countries, including Japan, Ireland, Mexico, and Bermuda while working with children with a variety of special needs. I am a certified DIR/Floortime Provider and Triple P parenting provider. I am also the proud parent to a 15-year old boy and enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, golf, and camping.
Sarah Harder is a lead instructor at WCDC and oversees our Pre-Kindergarten program. She is an ECE II and served as the Director of Laugh N' Learn Preschool prior to joining Westman Child Development Centre. She also served as a Child Development Worker with Children's DisABILITY Services for several years, helping families in their homes to support their child's growth. Sarah enjoys volunteering, reading, and spending time with her family.
